Twin Nursery Design ideas- Boy and Girl Twins!

The parents of these twins had a small bedroom that needed to meet the needs of twin babies. We had to decide upon the essentials for this space to become a functional and safe nursery and eliminate excess clutter. Two cribs, one changing station and one chair is all that is necessary in a twin's room. We selected this particular changing table because it included shelving for additional storage above. After all, twin babies means twice the clothing and little extras! In small spaces, using the vertical space in the room is essential and this tall shelving unit did just that for us. In order to make this twins' nursery special for each of a baby boy and baby girl, we selected a neutral green for the walls and painted sweet yellow stars falling in random areas around the room. For the baby girl, her crib bedding was white, yellow, green and had a touch of purple. For the baby boy, we selected coordinating baby bedding from the same manufacturer, which had the same white, yellow and green but with a touch of blue.  To top it all off, Sherri hand painted Royal Crown Wall Hangings for each baby. Rachel's in purples with flowers, and Jack's in blue with ivy vines. We were able to make personalized spaces for the twins while ensuring their accessories coordinated well with one another.
