Sweet Floral Girl's Bedroom ideas

This 9 year old little girl had many collectibles and toys and a playful personality! Her room lacked storage and organization, as well as it's outdated decor was not a reflection of the fun girl who played and slept here. We added built in shelves and window seats with storage inside so she could tuck away her dolls and toys rather than stacking them on the floor or in various random bins. We brightened up the walls and selected a whimsical floral bedding set. The icing on this cake was the random, colorful daisies that I painted around the room as if the sky was raining daisies! Notice the built-in vanity on the right side of the wall unit. The child's father insisted it wasn't necessary, as his daughter could fix her hair in the bathroom she shares with her brother. I convinced Dad that the vanity would come in handy as the children grew into teenagers and would help to alleviate those infamous sibling arguments over the bathroom before school. This vanity can double as a homework or diary writing space as well. The day we completed the room, the little girl immediately sat down at her vanity and began brushing her hair. Her father, amazed, thanked me!
